For it is here where the idea for Capulet was born, most fittingly on Montague Street in our beloved city. Owner Sergey Isakov was humbled by the many requests to open a second location following the success of our sister salon, Clinton Street Barbershop—and so came our bonny surrounds, which you will experience as soon as you step inside and take in the beautiful décor, jazz-era music, warmly lit space and comfortable seating.
And, naturally, there would be no Capulet or Montague without our dear star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. The couple’s desperate tale of romance and tragedy inspired both our name and our old-school aesthetic. We honor the beauty of the story through our commitment to authenticity, friendliness, and warmth.
